What's in your kitchen??

Everyone knows that wedding showers are full of kitchen gadgets...some turn out to be the most useful and some either just take up counter space or get shoved to the back of your cabinet and just take up space.

What is your favorite kitchen gadget??? What is that one thing that you cannot imagine not having in your kitchen???

A Rambling Honeymoon

Jason and Clarissa have planned a cross country honeymoon for the first two weeks of their marriage.

Among their planned destinations are:

John Deere Manufacturing Plant in Moline, Il

Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Oh.

Durango, Colorado for ATV trail riding and a train ride...

And "a few adventures along the way".

Sounds like a fun trip!

Fun stuff!!!

I have been given an amazing opportunity to actually be there with Clarissa for her wedding! Grandma and I are flying together the Wednesday before the wedding, just in time for all the wedding buzyness.

I am excited to not only be there with Clarissa and Jason but for the time with Grana too.

I promise to keep you all posted on here during the wedding fun.

Weding Dress News

Ive been involved in wedding dress shopping before... It sounds like Clarissa's shopping experience was much less stressful than some brides!

My dress: It was the first one of two dresses I tried on. I told the lady my budget and what I wanted and she pulled two dresses out. The first was everything I wanted and I merely tried the second dress on just so I could say I tried two on; however, the dress didn't get past my hips! :) 

I took one of my bridesmaids along who has been my friend and neighbor since childhood - Jackie(: I bought the dress at "Weddings by Paulette". Funny side note: Jason's mom got her wedding gown at the same place! MIND BLOWN! Ps. using her veil at the wedding (sadly, mom couldn't find hers).

Pale Yellow & Sunset Orange

Pale yellow & sunset orange is our color scheme. The theme is a rustic wedding. We will be having an outdoor wedding with a barn reception (weather cooperating). 

We have an eight member bridal party including a best man, three groomsmen, a maid of honor, a bridesman and two bridesmaids. Our brothers (four of them) are our ushers. 

A good friend who is my 
"little" sister is our flower girl. She just turned 15 so she isn't the typical age of a flower girl.
